  My grand children go to Brookhaven Country Day Camp. The camp is family friendly. The kids come home with wonderful stories on how their day went. They love it here. It gives them a chance to make new friends and learn new things. Great staff. Very organized .

  The way they treat there employees is horrible, don't get lunch breaks without children. Along with no breaks for an 8 hour day. Overworking them for the amount they recieve and work they have to do. Also the way the junior camp supervisor treat them is terrible barely asks just yells, and never hear good work or anything positive. I don't think they realize that they wouldn't be open and running without the employees also, they saying is "we are family" but would you really treat your family like that constantly yelling.

  Brookhaven Country Day Camp and Pre-School has two parts- it is a pre-Kindergarten as well as, school is off it’s a day camp. They have quite a big area. We really liked this a lot. They have a one lane road to get in which reduces your speed to 10/15mph. and one lane to go out. Pink building is the office building and the middle ones are the classrooms. Teachers were caring as well as office staff were good as well. They have one teacher and one helper in the class room to handle the small kids. Bathroom is inside/ very close by. Teachers help them putting on their jackets. Teacher will seat with parent one to one and tell them what is going on, how your kid is doing at school. It’s basically a socialization of the kids, not so much of education. They learn things through different activities. During the Halloween they have special trucks to come by, kids will ride on them and then they go for pumpkin pickup. School environment is good. Bigger parking lot at the outer / front side. They have multiple kids play ground. This is more of school in nature than the urban building type school. My kid will always miss this place (so does we).
